Prof. Yang’ research focuses on liver diseases (liver fibrosis, portal hypertension, liver regeneration, drug-induced liver damage, etc.). His clinical specialty is in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases and gastrointestinal diseases, especially in the difficult and critical cases. Prof. Yang Changqing had been studying in Harvard Medical School for about 3 years. He has been engaged in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive diseases, especially liver diseases. His research fields cover liver fibrosis, portal hypertension of liver cirrhosis and liver regeneration. He is the outstanding academic leader of Shanghai and the top 10 overseas Chinese of Shanghai. He has presided over 7 national Natural Science Foundation of China (including 1 key project), Shanghai Joint Major project, Shanghai International scientific and technological cooperation, edited 5 academic books in Chinese or English, published more than 260 papers, among which more than 110 were international core journals such as Gastroenterology, Gut, J Hepatol, Cancer Research, J Biol Chem, etc.
